About The Position

The skilled pizza maker will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas according to the recipes and customer preferences. This position works in a fast-paced kitchen environment and ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of every pizza that leaves the kitchen. Prepare and cook pizzas to the highest standards, following established recipes and customer preferences. Stretch and shape dough, ensuring the perfect crust thickness and consistency. Add and arrange toppings, sauces, and cheeses according to customer orders. Operate pizza ovens and cooking equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure all pizzas are cooked to the proper temperature and delivered in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering ingredients when needed. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to provide excellent customer service. Assist with prep work for pizza dough, sauces, and other ingredients as required. Handle customer special requests or dietary needs as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a pizza-making or kitchen role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in food presentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or boxes when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practice
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Compliant with state Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.
  • ServSafe certified.
