About The Position
The Plumbing Helper assists plumbers and supervisors with the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction job sites. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are willing to learn the plumbing trade while working safely and productively as part of a team. The Plumbing Helper is expected to follow directions, maintain a strong work ethic, and contribute to a safe and organized jobsite.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and work hard.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and jobsite environments.
Nice To Haves
- Previous construction experience.
- OSHA 10 certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with installation of piping, fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
- Carry, load, and unload materials and tools.
- Measure, cut, and assemble pipe as directed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and lead plumbers.
- Attend safety meetings and follow all company safety rules.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
