About The Position

The Construction Project Executive provides strategic leadership and high-level oversight for the entire portfolio of site expansion and rapid deployment initiatives for Waymo. This role is responsible for managing a team of Senior Project Managers, Associate Project Managers and Utility Project Managers ensuring that the collective project pipeline aligns with both ABM’s service capabilities and Waymo’s aggressive growth trajectory. The PX serves as the ultimate point of accountability for financial performance, high-level client relations, and the standardization of deployment protocols across the region. Pay: $65,450.00 - $121,550.00 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration. PMP or PgMP certification is preferred
  • Experience: At least 10+ years of progressive experience, with a proven track record in EV Deployment or corporate real estate.
  • Industry Expertise: Extensive experience managing site deployments for high-tech or autonomous vehicle companies.
  • Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in portfolio-level management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, Smartsheets) and a deep understanding of complex facility systems (MEP).
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to visit expansion sites and regional offices.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Team Management
  • Team Oversight: Direct and mentor a team of Senior Project Managers, Associate Project Managers and Utility Project Managers providing guidance on complex deployment lifecycles from initiation through closing.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the distribution of human and financial resources across the project portfolio to ensure all concurrent rapid-deploy projects are adequately staffed and funded..
  • High-Level Stakeholder & Client Strategy
  • Executive Liaison: Act as the senior point of contact for Waymo’s expansion and real estate executives, shifting from tactical updates to long-term strategic planning.
  • Portfolio Reporting: Aggregate data from multiple Project teams to present high-level portfolio health reports (budget, risk, and schedule) to ABM and Waymo executive leadership.
  • Conflict & Risk Resolution: Intervene in high-stakes project roadblocks that require executive-level negotiation or resource mobilization beyond the scope of a Senior PM.
  • Financial & Contractual Governance
  • Project Financial Accountability: Take full ownership of the expansion portfolio’s budget, ensuring profitability for ABM while maintaining cost-efficiency for the client.
  • Master Contract Management: Oversee large-scale vendor and subcontractor relationships, ensuring that contractual terms and safety standards are upheld across the entire region.
  • Scope & Change Control: Review and approve significant changes in project scope that impact the broader portfolio’s timeline or financial health.
