About The Position

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is accepting applications for the Pre-School Classroom Assistant position for the 2026 Super Summer Camp Session I Program. The Super Summer Camp Session I Program will be administered from June 8, 2026 through June 26, 2026. Staff will be selected based on the enrollment and program needs of the students. Must be able to work every day of the assignment. DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION: OPEN TO CURRENT CLASSIFIED FUESD EMPLOYEES ONLY APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 20, 2026 LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 14 Instructional Days, 6/8/2026 - 6/26/2026, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, Non Work Day 6/19/2026 WORK SITE: Fallbrook Stem Academy and San Onofre School WORK SCHEDULE: 5 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, 7:30a.m. - 12:30 p.m. SUPER SUMMER CAMP SESSION I: 6/8/2026 -6/26/2026, Non Work Day 6/19/2026 SALARY: Pre-School Classroom Assistant, Step 7, $24.40/hour

Requirements

• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade
• Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification
• Experience working with people of various cultures
• One (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable, supplemented by courses in childcare, supervision, psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities
