About The Position

A Production Assembler job at our manufacturing plant in Sacramento, CA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. In this role, you’ll need mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools. You will assist in the work activities of the department team members. Additionally, you will work directly with the department supervisor and department lead to ensure all manufacturing orders are properly completed and filled before the deadline. You must be able to perform tasks assigned in the construction of windows and patio doors in all phases of assembly. In addition to meeting departmental manufacturing goals, safety, accuracy, and efficiency are key elements to your performance. 💵 Compensation: $22 an hour ⏰ Schedule: Start time 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday (overtime required) MITER Brands (also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGT Innovations) is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.

Requirements

One year of similar work experience (Assembly, Manufacturing, and/or Warehouse)
Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read a tape measure.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Compute basic math problems (including fractions, addition, and subtraction).
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

Required to be able to handle glass.
Support product build and assembly processes with accuracy and efficiency using standard work instructions.
