About The Position

If you like clear instructions, steady hands-on work, and leaving your area cleaner than you found it, you’ll feel at home at Snap-on in Saint Joseph, MI. As a full-time, hourly Production Assembly Operator reporting to the Production Supervisor (or designee), you’ll assemble components, keep materials moving, and record your results in our ERP system to help the team hit its goals. Could this be you? Do you take pride in assembling parts correctly—checking fit and fastening with care? Will you label and palletize finished goods so they’re shipment-ready? Are 5S, sweeping, machine wipe-downs, and tidy bowl enclosures second nature? Can you enter transactions in ERP (Epicor preferred) and complete process paperwork accurately? Are you comfortable watching inventory levels, anticipating needs, placing/expediting orders, and verifying receipts? Will you report priorities and progress in shift production summaries and support team results?

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer/data entry skills; strong reading and math.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions; uphold quality standards.
• Independent and team-oriented work style; strong sense of ownership.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; frequent bending/stooping.
• Stand/walk for 8+ hours; walk long distances repeatedly.
• Climb step stools/small ladders; perform repetitive fine motor hand movements.

Nice To Haves

• Assembly team experience; 1 year related work preferred.
