About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support and direct LEO A DALY's USACE Far East District contract within the Military group of our Federal Market. This role serves as a leader and manager of the FED team performing AE services work for Military Construction in the Republic of Korea, and for the USACE Far East District (FED). Team & Project Leadership Be a collaborative partner, providing innovative thinking into our projects, studio, and market delivery, promoting design research that advances our market strategy and be a leading voice with clients in the Region and within the Firm. Act as Client advocate and perform Client support and relationship responsibilities. Grow, develop, and build a team of direct reports, including conducting supervisory activities, staff coaching and development, communication, accountability, and growth planning. Provide project leadership and oversight of market team and assist as necessary to ensure quality, efficient delivery and profitable project performance, and innovative, responsive design. Assist Project Management by monitoring and reviewing the project performance and technical quality and in contract negotiations and scope/fee negotiations with strategic partners. Business Development Provide vision, strategic direction, planning and thought leadership for designated agencies. Establish annual business goals, strategies, and tactics to compliment the National Firmwide P+I business plan with actionable items for designated agencies. Work closely with Business Development staff and Sector Leaders to nurture client relationships, develop new business and secure new clients. Become a leading voice within your market, in front of clients, sharing your thought leadership, attending client-industry events, and conducting, writing, and speaking. Develop and position the firm for responding to RFPs and Solicitations including building strategic teaming relationships, evaluation, and Go/No-go process of opportunities for AE services and lead responses to active pursuits in collaboration with marketing staff and project personnel. Achieve annual growth and profit goals. Lead proposal development and interviews to win work. Maintain strong written and verbal skills to facilitate, communicate and present to multiple levels of industry audiences, clients, and internal staff. Leadership & Management Assist with leadership and management of the Far East District team in the Federal Market setting expectations, leading projects, assisting with project, development, and project execution. Manage the personnel needs to meet marketing and project requirements, recruit and retain staff. Act as a mentor for the Far East District team by taking an active role in the development of department personnel. Demonstrated success in a leadership role within the Federal Military market. Proven track record in developing services, building, and implementing new operational processes to improve and expand delivery. Works with team leaders to forecast timeline, develop strategies for project captures, and overall development of pipeline

Requirements

  • Professional expertise demonstrated through 15+ years of project management experience for architecture/engineering projects.
  • Experience with USACE Far East District and related processes for executing work and gaining required approvals through design phases, construction services support. This includes completion and submittisno of related forms required by the FED review, approvals, and certification process, including project registration, electronic submittal, DSA inspection card, Construction Change Document (CCD) approval, and project closeout.
  • Experience leading large and small user groups through a project design process for large projects.
  • Working knowledge of current construction materials and methods and variety of project delivery and contracting processes.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design from an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to become involved in and remain current on issues relating to several concurrent projects in various stages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals throughout the organization with a strong team-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional client management, customer service orientation, writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Architect, Interior Designer, Professional Engineer preferred.
  • Proficiency with Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) preferred.
