About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to shape the way high-velocity product delivery is executed, establishing the processes, systems, and alignment needed to meet roadmap commitments. You will work closely with product and engineering leadership to design and implement operations practices from the ground up, enabling teams to deliver predictably and efficiently. The position is highly cross-functional, requiring strong facilitation skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to translate complex business objectives into actionable engineering work. You will influence how work is scoped, planned, tracked, and delivered, creating visibility and clarity across the organization. Requirements

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in product/engineering operations.
  • Proven ability to establish processes and practices in environments requiring structure and scalability.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, estimation, and technical constraints.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and practical application in real-world environments.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable engineering work.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience measuring velocity, cycle time, and delivery predictability.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain product operations processes including intake, requirements definition, sprint planning, and roadmap management.
  • Facilitate ceremonies such as initiative kickoffs, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and review meetings to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Implement work-in-progress limits, dependency tracking, and capacity planning to enable parallel initiative delivery.
  • Build and maintain roadmap infrastructure with clear Now/Next/Later visibility across the organization.
  • Run quarterly and monthly planning cycles to produce realistic timelines and firm delivery commitments.
  • Track and communicate program status, risks, and delivery timelines to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Establish baseline team velocity and measure performance through data-driven metrics.
  • Design and enforce definition of done, bug triage processes, and sprint closure practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and iterative process enhancements based on team feedback and results.
