About The Position

As the employment agency hiring temporary workers to be assigned to the Gates Foundation, we are responsible for direct hiring and seeking candidates for the following temporary role at the Foundation.

Your Role
As a Program Manager, you will bring organizational savvy and project management expertise to the work of a foundation team. You are highly organized and proactive, with impeccable attention to detail, energy for solving problems, and are excited about operational excellence. As an individual contributor, you’ll work across various processes, projects and initiatives, bringing your skills and expertise to enable the success of each. You will work in a hybrid arrangement from our Seattle, Washington office, with an expectation of working in-person at least 50% time.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree
• Impeccable professional discretion
• Exceptional attention to detail in proofing materials, tracking projects and managing follow ups
• Expertise in knowledge management, project management and/or change management
• A track record of process improvement and working for optimal efficiency and effectiveness
• Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to act independently to select methods and procedures on assignments
• Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in additional project management (e.g. Airtable) and generative AI (CoPilot, ChatGPT) a plus

Responsibilities

• Bring your project management expertise to the planning and execution of a range of projects of varying size and complexity
• Develop and maintain data, templates and/or processes that support team operations
• Manage and continuously improve team infrastructure including norms, processes, and tools that support efficient and effective operations
• Provide ongoing advice and input to strengthen team operations, culture, and overall effectiveness
• Establish knowledge management norms and processes, including confidential and restricted information, and work with colleagues to ensure their implementation and monitor adherence
• Identify opportunities to leverage generative AI tools to strengthen operational efficiency and effectiveness
