We are seeking a National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) Program Quality Lead (PQL) to serve within the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) business area primarily supporting DCS (Direct Commercial Sale) programs within the portfolio at our Andover, Massachusetts location. In this role you will be the primary quality interface for Program Management teams, ensuring the programs meet all Quality and Mission Assurance requirements. This PQL position will be led by the MRAD DCS PQL Sr. Manager. You will work to ensure the effective implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance requirements by engaging with functional Quality partners, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Contracts, Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain. In this role you will have external interfaces including foreign customers and suppliers. The contracts within this DCS MRAD portfolio include scope across all programmatic lifecycle phases including design & development, production and sustainment. The ideal candidate will have an eagerness to learn, be coachable, able influence across teams, and offer creative approaches to complex problems. This position is an onsite role in Andover, Massachusetts.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of prior experience in the areas below;
  • Working experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
  • Working experience guiding teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.
  • Working experience translating external and internal requirements and command media
  • Working experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience translating system and contractual requirements to ensure full compliance is flowed down through product, assembly, and test documentation.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers and creating relationships with program management, cross-functional program leadership, suppliers, customers and government representatives.
  • Experience Reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR)
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional teams in systematic improvement activities (e.g., Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and EACs
  • Experience in First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102.
  • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including the following tools: FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and Process Capability Assessments.
  • Six Sigma and American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications.
  • Current Secret Clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Become a Quality POC for the program teams focused on quality, technical, and financial performance, and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Execute on both a strategic and tactical level as you focus on quality, cost and schedule performance.
  • Review program contractual requirements relevant to quality then develop and implement Program Quality Plans to flow down for program execution.
  • Develop and Monitor program performance metrics to maintain program health, driving Continuous Improvement Efforts.
  • Oversee root cause corrective action (RCCA) activities and FRACAS activities for program and product issues.
  • Generate Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and support the Estimate at Complete (EAC).
  • Support Bid and Proposal activities.
  • Initiate CORE (Customer Oriented Result and Excellence) engagements to reduce costs/increase efficiency.
