About The Position

Take on the role of Project Management Intern at the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) within the Transmission Project Management Office in Austin, TX, a vibrant city! As an intern, you will directly engage in upgrades to our Transmission Line and Substation systems, while consistently prioritizing safety and excellence.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in sophomore year or has completed sophomore year and will be starting junior year.

Nice To Haves

  • Business Administration, Management, Construction Science, or Engineering degree plan.
  • Advanced Excel Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources for transmission projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to determine project scopes and objectives.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining project documentation and reports.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to collaborators.
  • Help identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful implementation.
  • Support the coordination of project activities across multiple teams.
