About The Position

The Receiver is responsible for accepting, scanning, and organizing incoming deliveries. This position ensures that all products are received in good condition, accurately documented, and stored properly in the designated areas. The role involves physical labor and close attention to detail to support smooth store operations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in receiving or warehouse work preferred but not required
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs)
• Basic English for understanding labels, invoices, and scanner use
• Ability to work in cold storage areas (refrigerator/freezer)

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries from trucks
• Inspect shipments for damage or missing items
• Scan and verify barcodes using handheld devices or scanners
• Match products with purchase orders or invoices
• Sort, label, and organize products in back stock or storage areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area
• Dispose of packaging materials properly
• Assist with moving products to the sales floor when needed
• Follow store safety and sanitation procedures
• Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors
