Responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory, shipping, and storage of all products to Mrs. Gerry’s quality and safety standards. What You’ll Do As our Retort Processing Operator – Mid Shift , you’ll: Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs. Know and follow all Food Safety procedures. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Wear all required personal protective equipment. For more information see policy. Responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory, shipping, and storage of all products to Mrs. Gerry’s quality and safety standards. Execute picking tickets and understand related documentation. Complete all internal receiving and shipping documentation. Ensure accuracy of all receiving, shipping, and picking activities. Perform item movement within the warehouse. Manage products and shipping. Rotate stock with the Warehouse plan, and check FIFO (first in, first out) and FEFO (first expired, first out). Loading and unloading trucks. Communicate shortages and errors Team Leader/Warehouse Manager. Participate in inventory cycle counts. Adhere to all safety policies. Perform housekeeping in the warehouse. Prepare receiving and shipping documentation and provide it to the carriers. Work with Quality Assurance to validate the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • No prior experience or training is necessary, although it is preferred.
