Responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory, shipping, and storage of all products to Mrs. Gerry’s quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• No prior experience or training is necessary, although it is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
• Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Wear all required personal protective equipment. For more information see policy.
• Responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory, shipping, and storage of all products to Mrs. Gerry’s quality and safety standards.
• Execute picking tickets and understand related documentation.
• Complete all internal receiving and shipping documentation.
• Ensure accuracy of all receiving, shipping, and picking activities.
• Perform item movement within the warehouse.
• Manage products and shipping. Rotate stock with the Warehouse plan, and check FIFO (first in, first out) and FEFO (first expired, first out).
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Communicate shortages and errors Team Leader/Warehouse Manager.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts.
• Adhere to all safety policies.
• Perform housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Prepare receiving and shipping documentation and provide it to the carriers.
• Work with Quality Assurance to validate the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
