About The Position

This position for the Academic Success Center is being filled through OU's PEAK Temporary Staffing Service. The position is scheduled to last from 2/16 until 3/18/26 Up to work 40 hours a week. M-F, 8am-5pm

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; AND: 12 months of office/clerical experience.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
  • General office skills such as phone, copying, faxing, filing, and handling mail
  • Able to lift 20lbs
  • Ability to engage in repetitive motion and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll and track hours for 60-80 student employees.
  • Manage purchases, invoices, and supply orders.
  • Serves as primary front desk receptionist
  • Answers multi-line phone and directs callers to appropriate personnel.
  • Greets visitors, assists with questions and directions, or directs to appropriate personnel for additional assistance.
  • Performs standard office duties, to include but not limited to filing, faxing, typing, copying, scanning, sorting and distributing mail.
  • Maintains appointment calendars and keeps track of scheduled events.
  • Assists with general office support duties and special projects.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
