We’re seeking a dynamic Recruiting Manager who is passionate about finding exceptional talent and shaping an outstanding employee experience from the very first interaction through every stage of the employee lifecycle. You’ll work as part of a strong, strategic, and hands‑on HR team, partnering closely with business leaders to drive recruitment strategies, strengthen our employer brand, and support a positive and productive workplace. This role is intentionally designed to blend recruitment and employee relations. While full‑cycle recruiting and onboarding will be your primary focus at the start, you will progressively take on broader employee relations responsibilities—growing into a future state where you are fully engaged across both areas as a key member of our HR team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience with strong focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Demonstrated experience work with labor relations and collective bargaining agreements (union contracts).
  • Proven ability to partner with company leaders and influence decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, HR policies, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in high-growth or dynamic environments
  • Ability to multitask and have a history of meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated accuracy with reporting and attention to detail
  • Comfortable communicating/troubleshooting with all levels of the organization with confidence
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • HR Certification (SHRM, PHR) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce planning needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies.
  • Design and implement innovative sourcing approaches to attract diverse, high-quality talent.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for critical roles, ensuring a smooth, timely, and effective hiring process.
  • Collaborate with hiring leaders to create compelling job postings and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Champion our employer brand through social media, networking events, career fairs, and college relations initiatives.
  • Lead seamless onboarding experiences:
  • Coordinate and facilitate new‑hire orientations and ensure completion of required documentation.
  • Partner with managers to design tailored onboarding plans that boost early engagement and productivity.
  • Continuously improve onboarding programs based on data and new‑hire feedback.
  • Track recruitment and onboarding metrics (time‑to‑fill, new‑hire retention, satisfaction scores) to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve issues within HRIS recruitment and onboarding modules.
  • Demonstrate behaviors aligned with our culture and values, contributing to a positive employee experience.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and workplace issues with fairness, professionalism, and timeliness—escalating when appropriate.
  • Assist with or independently conduct investigations related to complaints, policy violations, or disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies within a unionized environment.
