About The Position

The Red Coat Society Lead serves as the primary mentor and role model for members of the Red Coat Society, embodying the mission and values of Girls Inc. of Tarrant County. This individual will guide members in leadership development, professional etiquette, and community engagement, ensuring they represent the organization with excellence at all times. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: 1. Mentorship & Role Modeling Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and alignment with the mission of Girls Inc. of Tarrant County. Provide guidance and support to Red Coat Society members in personal and professional growth. 2. Member Engagement Host quarterly meetings (virtual or in-person) to review goals, upcoming events, and leadership development topics. Conduct 1:1 follow-ups with members for special events or individual support needs. 3. Event Coordination & Tracking Collaborate with the AVP of Programs to track and manage special events involving Red Coat Society members. Ensure members are prepared and assigned roles for events, including speaking engagements, community outreach, and media appearances. 4. Training & Development Deliver etiquette training (professional behavior, dress code, networking skills). Provide media training (public speaking, interviews, social media presence). Facilitate workshops on leadership, communication, and confidence-building. 5. Communication & Accountability Maintain regular communication with members via email, phone, or messaging platforms. Monitor member participation and adherence to Red Coat Society standards. Address concerns or challenges promptly and professionally. 6. Program Support Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new Red Coat Society members. Support any additional needs related to the Red Coat Society, including logistics, materials, and event preparation. 7. Reporting & Documentation Keep accurate records of member attendance, training completion, and event participation. Provide quarterly updates to the AVP of Programs on member progress and program impact. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Requirements Preferred Qualifications: Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience in event coordination and youth development. Familiarity with media relations and etiquette standards. Commitment to the mission of Girls Inc. of Tarrant County. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Additional Expectations: Availability for occasional evening or weekend events. Ability to travel locally for in-person meetings or events. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
