About The Position

As the Regional Sales Manager for the Western United States, you will drive profitable growth for Mattr’s ShawFlex and DSGCanusa product lines. You will lead all sales management activities within your region—expanding market presence, influencing enduser specifications, and strengthening channel partnerships. This role is critical to advancing Mattr’s strategic goals by leveraging strong technical selling capabilities, understanding customer needs, and building highvalue relationships across utilities, engineering firms, OEMs, contractors, and distributors.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of sales or marketing experience in wire & cable, heatshrink tubing, or comparable technical industrial markets.
  • Strong technical selling skills with experience in channel management and pricing structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage distributors, agents, and complex customer relationships.
  • High proficiency in Excel (formulas, analysis) and strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Community College diploma required.
  • Experience with technical specifications, quotation processes, and industrial market dynamics.
  • Must be highly selfsufficient, outgoing, and confident presenting to technical audiences and executive boards.
  • Ability to travel frequently (over 50%).
  • Fluent in English; French is also listed as required in PD.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales in the Western U.S. by targeting end users, EPCs, contractors, and OEMs to create specifications and demand for Connectivity products.
  • Conduct customer visits, deliver technical presentations, and maintain strong relationships through regular communication.
  • Build and manage a regional distribution strategy, including distributor training, joint customer visits, and coordinated account management.
  • Oversee assigned accounts and, where applicable, manage a network of sales agents to support market penetration.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans, roadmaps, and customer value files while maintaining a strong presence in key markets through committee participation, industry events, and networking.
  • Prepare customer quotes aligned with market factors and approved pricing matrices.
  • Support marketing by gathering competitive intelligence, identifying product opportunities, and maintaining CRM records.
  • Attend regional and local trade shows as a brand representative.
  • Manage regional budgets, monitor expenses, and complete annual performance objectives.
  • Adhere to all HSE policies while upholding Mattr’s Ethics and Bill 198 requirements.
