About The Position

This project advances the design of Local Shape Descriptor architectures to improve scalability and computational efficiency for large-scale connectomics workloads. In parallel, it develops robust preprocessing pipelines based on diffusion models tailored to electron microscopy and lattice light sheet microscopy data. The work targets efficient scaling on ALCF systems, with a focus on enabling high-throughput analysis of lattice light sheet datasets. Comprehensive evaluation will include cross-method metric comparisons and implementation of MCM to rigorously validate performance and accuracy.
