About The Position

Description of tasks: Recruitment Support: Assist with drafting and distributing recruitment emails, tracking responses, and scheduling participants for interviews and surveys. Survey & Questionnaire Administration: Help add questions to existing surveys, send questionnaires to partners, track responses, and follow up with participants. Interview & Focus Group Support: Support the development of interview protocols, attend interviews, take notes, and manage transcription. Data Management: Organize data from surveys, questionnaires, meeting notes, and interviews, and prepare visual summaries. Analysis Assistance: Contribute to the analysis of data, identify gaps and opportunities, and support the preparation of reports, presentations, and knowledge mobilization activities. Administrative & Logistical Support: Help coordinate advisory committee meetings, internal consultations, and maintain project timelines. Meeting Participation and Documentation: Attend regular team meetings, take detailed notes, and maintain organized records of decisions, tasks, and progress within shared files. Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with faculty, staff, and other RAs in a collegial and cooperative manner, providing input into research design and implementation.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage data.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency with Excel or similar data tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Proficiency with SurveyMonkey.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse participants and community partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
  • Experience in conducting community-based research or needs assessments is an asset.
