About The Position

Performs duties to maintain a safe and secure setting for residents and staff within rental housing facilities. Ensures client needs are met and program protocols are followed at all times through a supportive housing approach.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate level problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Effective use of computer and basic data management for record-keeping purposes
• Basic conflict resolution/crisis management skills and techniques
• Driving if required by program
• High School Graduate or high school equivalency
• 0-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor activities to ensure program guidelines are followed
• Make periodic rounds of buildings/grounds to ensure safety, security, and optimal facility operations
• Assist residents and peers in making appropriate decisions
• Deliver on-going oversight of client activity
• Complete accurate and timely documentation utilizing designated software
• Respond to emergencies or incidents through conflict resolution and crisis management techniques
• Perform routine non-clinical intake duties asrequired
• Recognize behavior changes and monitor client movement
• Participate in bi-weekly integrated staff meetings between rental housing and supportive services to increase and advocate for housing stability, tenant retention,and client support
• Develop and facilitate tenant education events and groups for building residents to promote self-sufficiency, housing stability, increase life skills, build interpersonal skills and community engagement
• Operate vehicle to transport clients as required
• Other duties as assigned
