About The Position

Rising Futures Young Parent Living Program (Formally known as the Teen Parenting Program) is a DCF and DTA funded residential program for teen parents who are pregnant and/or parenting. We provide apartment style living in a staff supported environment. The YPLP offers services including independent living and parenting skill groups, education and job search support, day care and medical referrals, housing search and aftercare support. YOU will be able to ensure program safety and compliance with safety and security procedure while on site, and also through rotating on call coverage. YOU will support the professional development of residential counselors through training and supervision. YOU will be able to support all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students. YOU will support staff and programming through your knowledge of the policies and procedures of the YPLP's residential department. Be who you are! Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or above (Bachelors degree preferred)
  • Prior supervisory experience in a residential program or mental health facility required
  • Residential program or mental health facility experience required
  • Active Driver’s License
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed

Responsibilities
