Scaler Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate scaling equipment to safely remove loose or unstable rock in underground areas. Inspect work areas to identify scaling needs and potential hazards. Maintain equipment through routine checks and basic servicing. Follow all underground safety procedures and site-specific protocols. Collaborate with the production team to support efficient and safe operations.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate heavy or specialized equipment in confined spaces.
- Strong hazard recognition skills, especially related to underground ground control.
- Capacity to follow technical instructions and adapt to changing conditions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety and operational discipline.

Benefits
- $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr underground rate
