As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of yards, docks, and building perimeters, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and provide clear communication and customer service to team members and visitors. Requirements

A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting and documenting observations per post orders.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and contractors, verifying credentials and/or directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures.
Perform routine checks of doors, gates, trailers, and loading dock areas, and promptly communicate irregular conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
