As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and support employees and visitors with professional communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and/or monitoring delivery activity according to site requirements.
  • Complete detailed written reports and logs, communicate security-related information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems as assigned.
