As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and support employees and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, office areas, ATM and vestibule areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee traffic, verifying authorization as required and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, disturbances, alarms, and/or suspicious activity.
- Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate notable conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
