As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and communications location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a high-visibility presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with calm, clear communication. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a guard card/license preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
  • Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in and/or badging processes, and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and complete timely reports, logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
