As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and document observations using site technology. Requirements

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at an automotive location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, directing visitors and/or contractors, and following check-in and check-out procedures.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other systems; report unusual activity and follow escalation procedures as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Complete routine inspections of doors, gates, loading areas, and other access points; report maintenance concerns and/or hazards through the appropriate channels.
Document incidents, patrols, and daily activities in written reports and logs per site requirements.
Support shipping and receiving areas by observing dock activity, verifying inbound and outbound traffic, and reporting irregularities to management.
Provide direction during evacuations and/or other emergency events according to site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while maintaining a customer-focused presence and adherence to post orders.
