As a Security Officer - Armed Route Driver in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and store teams with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, so you will also complete mobile patrols and quick responses as needed. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas only.
Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and/or store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential theft activity, and/or policy violations; help to deter issues through high-visibility presence, verbal engagement, and prompt notification to site leadership and/or law enforcement when needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, alarms, and/or disruptive individuals.
Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, document observations, and support investigations by preserving information and coordinating with management and/or responding officers.
