About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Mobile Patrol in Oxford, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and a customer service mindset. Using our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, you will collaborate with site teams, document activity, and act with integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including support with de-escalation, access issues, and requests for assistance.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
  • Control access at designated points by checking credentials as directed, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and assisting with visitor management processes.
  • Document security-related activities in daily reports and incident reports, and communicate key information to site leadership, clinical staff, and/or local responders as required by post orders.
