As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet team members and visitors, document observations, and communicate concerns with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, supported by an agile, reliable, and caring team culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas and the perimeter, helping to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors and/or gates, and potential policy violations.
  • Monitor access points such as entrances, badge-controlled doors and vehicle gates; verify identification, manage visitor and contractor check-in, and direct deliveries to designated locations per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls and/or weather-related events, and communicate with site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Document patrols, inspections, incidents and corrective actions in written reports and/or electronic systems, and notify site leadership of trends or recurring issues.
