As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a food and beverage location, you will support access control by welcoming employees and visitors, verifying credentials, managing badges, and monitoring entry points. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document activity using a computer or tablet. Bring clear communication and customer service in a role built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges and/or passes, managing visitor logs, and directing deliveries to designated check-in areas.
• Screen and authorize inbound and outbound vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic as required, including coordinating dock and gate activity to help support orderly operations at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or emergency responders per post orders.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and complete required reports, logs, and shift handoffs to help maintain consistent security-related coverage.
