As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading tech data center location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and visitor interactions. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, innovative approach while delivering reliable service.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned, verify identification and/or authorization where required, and report unusual conditions.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership, and assist with traffic and/or visitor direction when needed.
