As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer in a retail and mall location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and guide team members and visitors with clear, professional communication. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, team members, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor, employee, and contractor entry logs.
• Monitor and screen deliveries and service vendors at receiving areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or removal of merchandise.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed and completing required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, common areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
