About The Position

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech data center location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, document security-related activity, and assist employees and visitors with a service-first approach. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state, supporting mobile patrol coverage and quick response across the site. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and data center location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including corridors, loading areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support access control processes, including checking credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting access activity per site requirements.
• Complete routine documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol activity records using site-approved systems and/or forms.
