As a driving post in a residential community, you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying highly visible while conducting routine vehicle rounds and timely checks. You will help to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and accurate reporting. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, members, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential amenities, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and control access at entry and exit points as assigned, checking credentials, managing visitor access, and directing traffic and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and notable activity, and preserve information and/or observations for follow-up as needed.
