As a Front Desk Officer at a busy hotel and resort location, you will be the first point of contact for guests and staff, supporting a welcoming arrival experience while handling security-related access control, lobby observation, incident documentation, and communication with on-site teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk area by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Greet and assist guests, visitors, and vendors; verify identification and/or room access as required by post orders.
  • Monitor lobby activity and front entrance access points, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior through presence and professional communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to hotel management and/or local emergency services as needed.
  • Complete required reports and logs such as shift activity, incident documentation, and key control or access records in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
