As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations by screening employees, visitors, and deliveries at entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring activity, and documenting incidents. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries entering the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, checking authorization, and conducting security-related screening of persons and/or belongings as required by post orders.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain access logs, and communicate instructions to drivers and pedestrians to support orderly traffic flow at docks, gates, and screening areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, yard areas, and the perimeter, and document observations, patrol results, and incidents per site requirements.
