As a Screener at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points by greeting employees and visitors, verifying identification and badges, and supporting access control procedures. You will complete security-related logs using a computer and/or tablet, communicate clearly with site teams, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Screen personnel and deliveries at designated entry points by verifying identification, work authorization, and scheduled appointments, and by checking permitted items per site guidelines.
• Maintain access logs and visitor records, issue temporary credentials as directed, and communicate entry approvals and/or denials to site contacts in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, documenting events, and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, staging areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and to identify maintenance and/or operational concerns for follow-up.
