As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will support daily operations by screening people and items entering the site, monitoring assigned areas, and completing routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you may move between checkpoints as needed while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Screen and verify individuals, drivers, and visitors at entry points, checking identification, access authorization, and required shipping or delivery documentation.
- Inspect inbound and outbound packages, parcels, and/or personal items using approved screening methods to help identify prohibited or suspicious items in a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yard areas, trailer lines, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
