As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet drivers and visitors, verify credentials, manage access points, and document entries using site systems. You will stay highly visible, support routine patrols of assigned areas, and communicate concerns to the team to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post. Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at the screening post by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing traffic flow in accordance with post orders.
• Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries using approved screening methods and equipment, reporting prohibited items, policy violations, and/or irregularities through the established chain of command.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing timely notifications and written documentation as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, staging areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
