About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Greeter in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, supporting a professional arrival experience. You will manage access control, check credentials, maintain logs, monitor cameras and alarms, and communicate quickly with site teams when something looks out of place. Bring integrity, teamwork, and customer service to a fast-moving, innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Operate the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and managing access through established access control processes.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems as assigned, documenting irregular activity and escalating concerns through the chain of command to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or responding agencies as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports, logs, and shift handoffs, including visitor activity, incidents, and service requests, in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site procedures.
