About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Reception in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control entry into the property by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary access credentials as directed, and directing authorized persons to the correct areas.
  • Answer phones, greet arrivals, and coordinate communications with property management, maintenance, and other personnel regarding routine requests and security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation, including incident reports, shift activity logs, and access control records, in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
