Job Description As a Security Officer - Night Mobile Patrol in Dupont, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to questions, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, check identification and/or visitor credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly movement through lobbies, secured doors, and controlled areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in written and/or electronic reports, and relay timely updates during shift turnovers.
