As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazardous conditions for escalation to site leadership.
  • Monitor access control points and verify identification, badges, and/or visitor authorizations; assist with vehicle and delivery check-in and route drivers to designated areas per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and medical calls, and coordinate notifications to appropriate site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written and/or electronic reports; communicate key information during shift turnover and assist with follow-up actions per site requirements.
