As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and support smooth daily operations with strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and drivers, verify authorization as directed by site policy, and document entries, exits, and deliveries as required.
• Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and assist with reviewing camera systems and alarm activations when assigned.
