Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a trusted presence for employees and visitors, responding to concerns, documenting observations, and communicating clearly while delivering great service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter security-related incidents and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management and/or badging procedures according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site leadership and/or local emergency services when needed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and report maintenance issues and/or hazards observed during rounds to the appropriate contacts.
