About The Position
As a Security Officer - Reception Desk in Oklahoma City, OK , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will manage access control, greet and direct visitors, monitor lobby activity and/or cameras, and document security-related incidents with clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a front desk in a tech and/or media office location by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal post orders.
- Control access by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to approved destinations.
- Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and communication channels for security-related concerns, and report irregular activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance and initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed logs and complete required reports, including visitor entries, incident documentation, and shift handoff notes for the next officer.
