As a Front Desk Officer in a fast-paced tech and media environment, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, and support lobby and reception operations using computer-based systems. You will monitor activity from your post, respond to incidents, and deliver clear communication and customer service that helps promote a secure workplace. Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and other systems as assigned, documenting security-related observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for assistance, coordinating notifications, and supporting emergency response activities per site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate security-related logs and reports, including visitor management records, key and/or badge control documentation, and incident reports as required by site policy.
  • Support a professional front desk environment by answering phones, managing deliveries and service vendor check-ins, and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and contractors.
