As an Allied Universal Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will support daily operations by screening personnel and deliveries, checking credentials, monitoring assigned areas, and documenting security-related activity. You will maintain a professional, visible presence, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and respond to concerns as they arise. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, and/or vendors at designated entry points using approved screening methods, verifying identification and required credentials, and documenting access as required.
• Control access to the facility by monitoring entry and exit points, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and reporting suspicious activity that may help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site management and emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed, accurate reports and logs, including screening activity, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.
